Party members proceeded to make their nominations. Before each one, the nominator testified to the nominee’s commitment to family, service, party and Wallingford. Each nomination was met by a chorus of “seconds.”
The party nominated Jason Zandri for mayor. Zandri is surrendering his council seat in order to challenge Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr., a 30-year incumbent
